Who We Are
Fellowship in the Field is comprised of men from different area churches who have felt God’s call to reach out to other men with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Below is our Statement of Belief and Purpose.Reaching out to these men will include men friendly events through which we can begin to build relationships, and, individual contact. We will have no other purpose than to introduce a man to Jesus Christ and to help him grow in His grace. All that we do will be towards this purpose.

What We BelieveWe believe that there is but one God and that He exists in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that all persons are born into this world with a sin nature and therefore need the redeeming sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s death by crucifixion to be reconciled to God the Father in this life and for eternity. We believe that by grace people are given the opportunity to trust the redeeming work of Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit are made able to live lives increasingly obedient to the commandments of God’s son Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s revealed truth about Himself. We believe the Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to mankind. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

Although this is not unique to our age and culture, we sense that it is particularly true at this time, and calls for a response from the Body of Christ. We believe that God has called us together to be a tool of His body to reach these men. In order to do this we believe we must reach out as servants through authentic and engaged relationships that enable us to love these men unconditionally as commanded in the Scripture. This means going out into the “field” where men are and:
